Albanya to Macanet

Today was a joyful day full of delightful moments and hours of peaceful hiking.

I walked to Albanya village and had a tea in the square at the lovely hostel next to the church.

The walk was blissful; long stetches through the forests, over sandstone and with small ascents and descents. I met more people today including a Belgium hiker with a trailer and a sheepdog. I passed the dutch guys who were brewing tea by a stream.

This evening I'm camping in a quiet place outside Macanet in the woods. I joined the Dutch guys for a wonderful dinner as the restaurant filled with guests arriving for a weekend of camping.
