The road to Candanchu!

This led through the most spectacular limestone scenery and remarkable track finding routes. Looking back after going over passes and down escarpments was quite incredible. The last section to the highest chair lift above Candanchu was a push.

Then it was down hill, following the snow piste along steep descending paths. A little intimidating to see elderly Spanish guys sprinting up and down these routes. In true style, I took my time - slowly, slowly.

I said goodbye for now to my travelling companions. They were off for another nights camping. I've chosen to stop, take a room and clean up a bit before carrying on tomorrow. The feet are sore....
