Am staying in a great B and B right opposite the German embassy.

It’s very central to all the sights and activity of Bishkek. The family live upstairs and rent out the rooms on the ground floor. It's a real bohemian hide away and a great place to meet other people traveling through Central Asia. A couple of guests went off in search of a bar showing the England match last night. Two places stayed open to show the match- poor old Eangland....

Will be in and out of Bishkek over the next few days before heading off to Osh.
