Conangles to Dera Restance

I'm really getting into this refuge living.

I love the people you meet, the comradeship and the warmth of the evening conversations over dinner. Probably getting a bit sleep deprived though due to sour feet and legs, and snoring interfering with a good night's sleep.

I set off today through the forest and then started the climb over the pass. I passed through a valley full of sheep with a shepherd sat overseeing them whilst watching a movie on his phone.

This day had plenty of opportunities to admire the lakes and mountain ranges of a true Alpine vista. All around were awesome views.

The last section involved scrambling up a high ridge to them drop down the other side to a reservoir and the refuge. A beautiful end to a day.

I realised I had forgotten to pay for my stay at the previous refuge. Mortified, I asked the refuge manager here to accept a double payment. They called the previous refuge to say my bill had been paid... ?? no idea by who or when. Thank you who every you were
