So what now?

Turkey was always my intended destination as I travelled the old trade routes across Central Asia. Now I need to continue on to Holland and have decided to do this overland. As I crossed the Caspian sea by boat, I got talking to a fellow passenger who just happened to be a rail enthusiast. Ulrich has very kindly proposed an overland rail route through Central Europe passing through Romania, Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, Switzerland and Germany into Holland. The route passes through some incredible countryside and will most definately highlight that Europe has many interesting places to explore too. I leave tonight, on a night bus/train journey heading for Bucarest.
