Today started with a steep climb up to the top of the local hilltop adorned in pray flags and marked monuments.

A morning ritual hike for some of the locals - a slow slog for the unaccustomed.
Today I met hikers coming the other way who were nearly finishing. They all looked incredibly hardened and fit. UUUMM.
