Sallent de Gallego to Refuge de Respomuso

It was great to get up and be back walking again today.

A steady accent led to the refuge built on the side of a reservoir. I was there at around midday so then started the dilemma as to whether to move on like the younger, fitter crowd and camp or stay a take it steady for the day. I choose the later on the advice of a hiker who had done the route before. My first night's experience in a refuge.
